Tesla Home Charger and Wallbox
Tesla Model Y and Model 3 sold in Turkey use the European Type 2 standard for AC charging and CCS2 for DC fast charging. So besides the Tesla Wall Connector, any Type 2 home charger charges your Tesla – Bemis wallboxes are fully compatible.
Model Y and Model 3 accept up to 11 kW AC (three-phase 16 A). An 11 kW home charger is therefore enough; a 22 kW charger won't charge a Tesla faster. On single-phase power, the maximum is 7.4 kW.
Depending on battery size, a full charge takes about 6–8 hours at 11 kW, 8–11 hours at 7.4 kW and over 16 hours at 3.7 kW on a household socket. A day's driving is recovered in 1–2 hours at 11 kW.
- Daily charging at home with three-phase power: Bemis Charger Plus 2 (4–22 kW adjustable, app, RFID, load balancing), or Charger 2 if budget comes first.
- Shared car parks, shared use or billing: Charger Pro 2 (OCPP, load balancing, MID meter and GSM options).
- If you can't install a wallbox or charge in different places: a portable charger (3.7 kW on a household socket, 7.4 kW with a 32 A socket, up to 22 kW three-phase).
- For public AC chargers: a Type 2 to Type 2 charging cable (11 kW or 22 kW).
Yes. The Wall Connector and Bemis Charger Plus 2 use the same Type 2 standard and charge a Tesla at the same 11 kW. Bemis adds an app, RFID, scheduled charging and dynamic load balancing – with survey, installation and service locally in Bursa.
