LED Bulbs
How to choose an LED bulb
Start with the lamp holder of the luminaire: downlights and track spots mostly use GU10, while chandeliers and table lamps use E27 or E14. A bulb with the wrong base will not fit, so go by the holder type in the luminaire's technical data.
- Power and light output: an LED bulb's power is given in watts and its light in lumens. A lower-wattage LED replaces an old halogen bulb; compare by lumens.
- Light colour: 2700–3000 K is warm, 4000 K neutral and 6500 K cool white. On colour-tunable (CCT) bulbs the colour is set with a switch on the back.
- LED module: an LED light source with its own connection, fitted into a recessed downlight housing instead of a bulb.
- GU10 holder: used when the luminaire has no holder or it is worn. Spots with their own connection (e.g. ENGN Vion) need no separate holder.
- Dimming: check in the technical table whether the bulb is dimmable; do not connect a non-dimmable bulb to a dimmer.
Molled products in stock ship within 1–3 business days. A model that can be produced can still be bought when out of stock: the product page shows "Made to order" and shipping takes longer by the production time.

Downlights, track spots and wall lights with a GU10 holder. The luminaire's technical data should state GU10 as the holder type.
A bulb whose light colour can be set to warm, neutral or cool white with a switch on the back, so one bulb suits different rooms.
Only if the luminaire has no holder or connection. ENGN Vion spots connect directly to Molled GU10 bulbs; no separate GU10 holder is needed.
Choose by the light the room needs (lumens). For the same light an LED bulb draws roughly a fifth of the power of an old halogen.
