Motorised curtains, roller blinds and shutters open and close from the panel, your phone or on a schedule. Thermostats and underfloor heating are controlled from the same system; scenes can turn the heating down when you leave and back up before you return.

The touch control panel on the wall is the centre of the home: you control lights, blinds, climate and scenes from it and see the visitor at the door. We place panels where they are used most, such as the entrance hall, the living room and each floor of a villa. You can do the same from outside the home with the phone app.

With IP intercom (the new generation of video door entry) you can see and talk to a visitor at the garden gate or entrance from the indoor unit, the control panel or your phone and open the door. Akuvox systems work together with the smart home or on their own.

KNX is a wired system: switches, sensors and the modules in the distribution board communicate over a bus cable. It is not affected by wireless interference, needs no batteries and works consistently in large houses and villas. Because its infrastructure is prepared during conduit and wiring, it is the soundest solution for new houses.

Zigbee is a wireless system: it is added to the existing installation without breaking walls. If you want a smart home in the house you already live in, it is the most practical route.

The Akubela system we use supports both; most homes use them together: fixed circuits on KNX, small devices added later, such as sensors, on Zigbee.

If you are building a villa or a detached house, we install the smart home together with the electrical installation, turnkey from the foundations. In the home you already live in, we install a wireless system without renovation. In both cases the smart home is optional; you can start with only lighting or only the intercom and expand later.
