LED lighting for your project
Good lighting has three layers: general light for the whole room, task light for work surfaces and accent light that brings the space to life. In homes, downlights and magnetic track systems lead the way; in offices, LED panels and linear luminaires; in shops, track spotlights; and outdoors, floodlights, wall washers and garden lighting.

- LED floodlights, wall washers, street lights and garden lighting: outdoors.
For every product you choose the colour temperature (2700K–6500K) and housing colour; many luminaires also offer DALI control, a European-made driver and an emergency kit. Lamptime luminaires are made to order with the colour temperature, housing colour and optic you choose and ship within 1–3 business days. 2700K–3000K warm white is recommended for homes, hotels and restaurants; 4000K neutral white for offices, shops, kitchens and bathrooms; 5000K and above cool white for warehouses, workshops and technical areas. Using the same colour temperature throughout a room gives a consistent look.
About 4–6 W per square metre in homes and 8–10 W in offices is a common starting point. The number of luminaires depends on ceiling height, wall colours and the required light level. Send us your dimensions and we will suggest a layout.
