Mercedes Home Charger and Wallbox
Mercedes-Benz electric models (EQA, EQB, EQE, EQS and their SUV versions) and plug-in hybrids use a Type 2 socket for AC charging. Any Type 2 home charger will charge your Mercedes; no brand-specific device is needed.
Most Mercedes-Benz electric models charge at 11 kW AC as standard; some, such as the EQE and EQS, offer 22 kW AC as an option. AC power on plug-in hybrids varies by model. If your car doesn't have 22 kW, an 11 kW installation is enough and cheaper.
If your Mercedes has the 22 kW option, the 22 kW setting of Bemis Charger Plus 2 or Pro 2 halves the charging time – your three-phase supply must handle 32 A.
- Daily charging at home with three-phase power: Bemis Charger Plus 2 (4–22 kW adjustable, app, RFID, load balancing), or Charger 2 if budget comes first.
- Shared car parks, shared use or billing: Charger Pro 2 (OCPP, load balancing, MID meter and GSM options).
- If you can't install a wallbox or charge in different places: a portable charger (3.7 kW on a household socket, 7.4 kW with a 32 A socket, up to 22 kW three-phase).
- For public AC chargers: a Type 2 to Type 2 charging cable (11 kW or 22 kW).
ENGN is an authorised Bemis dealer. In Bursa we offer a free site survey and install your home charger with our own team. The installation price depends on cable length (up to 10 m about TRY 15,000 + VAT); the exact price is given in writing after the survey, with a 5-year workmanship warranty.
Type 2 for AC and CCS2 for DC fast charging. All Type 2 home chargers and cables work with Mercedes-Benz electric and plug-in hybrid models.
Only if your car has the 22 kW AC option; most models charge at 11 kW. With an adjustable wallbox you can start at 11 kW and increase when needed.
Yes. Type 2 is a common standard; Bemis wallboxes charge a Mercedes at the highest AC power the car accepts.
