The Bemis Charger 2 is a wall-mounted home EV charger (wallbox) designed to charge your electric car safely at home or at work. It is the entry model of the Bemis Charger family: it offers everything you need for daily charging and is the most economical choice for users who don't need shared-use and load-balancing features for residential sites or workplaces.
The 22 kW version runs at 32 A on a three-phase supply, the 11 kW version at 16 A. Which is right for you depends on your electricity contract and your car's AC charging power: most cars sold in Turkey accept at most 11 kW AC, in which case the 11 kW version is enough. If your car supports 22 kW or you plan to change car, the 22 kW version gives full speed.
The charger has a fixed 5 m Type 2 cable. The RFID card reader means only people you give a card to can start charging; the LCD display shows charging status. With Wi-Fi and the Bemis app you can manage charging remotely and schedule it for cheaper night hours. The IP65 housing suits outdoor use such as open car parks and gardens.
The version with a 5/32A plug lets you plug the charger into a red 5-pin 32 A industrial (CEE) socket instead of hardwiring it – handy for tenants or if you may move the charger to another address. Frequently asked questions
Charger 2 is the economical model for single-user home use. Charger Plus 2 adds dynamic load balancing, OCPP 1.6, shared-use software, socket and MID-metered versions. For one car at home Charger 2 is enough; for residential sites, apartment blocks or workplaces we recommend Charger Plus 2 or Charger Pro 2.
Check your car's AC charging power: most cars accept at most 11 kW AC, and then a 22 kW charger won't charge faster. If your car supports 22 kW and your supply allows it, the 22 kW version halves the charging time.
It lets you plug the charger into a 5/32A industrial (CEE) socket instead of hardwiring it to the board, so you can easily remove it when moving. The socket must be installed by an electrician on a suitably sized, fused circuit.
Yes. It is compatible with all electric and plug-in hybrid cars that use Type 2 (IEC 62196-2). Togg, Tesla, BYD, MG, Hyundai, Kia, Renault, BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen and all other cars sold in Turkey use this standard for AC charging. Charging power is set by the car's AC charging power; if your car accepts 11 kW, the charger can be installed at the 11 kW level.
Installation is not included in the charger price. The cost depends on the distance from the distribution board to the parking space, the cable size, and the breaker and residual current protection needed. We offer a free site survey in Bursa; these are settled during the survey and the installation price is given to you in writing.
