LED Batten Lights
Where are LED battens used?
An LED batten is a slim, long luminaire mounted directly on the ceiling or wall. It replaces fluorescent battens in warehouses, car parks, corridors, workshops, garages and between racks, giving the same light with about half the energy. In existing fluorescent fittings, a T8 G13 LED tube saves energy without replacing the fitting.
Lamptime luminaires are made to order with the colour temperature, housing colour and optic you choose and ship within 1–3 business days. For projects and bulk orders, write to us for help choosing luminaires and calculating quantities.
In fittings with magnetic ballasts the starter is removed and the LED tube fitted; with electronic ballasts the ballast may need to be bypassed. We recommend having an electrician make the connection.
Yes, battens can be lined up to form continuous lines of light.
