The Lamptime BP12 is a T8 (G13) LED tube that replaces the fluorescent tube in existing fittings. It gives the same light with far less energy, does not flicker and lasts much longer.
In warehouses, car parks, workshops, schools and offices it is the most practical way to save energy without replacing the fittings. The ballast and starter may need to be bypassed before installation.
The housing is extruded polycarbonate monobloc. The light source is an SMD LED rated for at least 100,000 hours, with a colour rendering index (CRI) above 80 for natural-looking colours. The glare rating is UGR 18. The constant-current driver is protected against overload, overvoltage, short circuit and overheating; the luminaire runs on 220–240 V AC with a power factor of PF>0.60 (P≤25W) / PF>0.95 (P≥25W). Protection rating IP20, electrical safety Class II; operating temperature -20 °C to +50 °C.
Choose a colour temperature between 2700K–6500K: warm white (2700–3000K) gives a cosy light in homes, hotels and restaurants; neutral white (4000K) suits workspaces such as offices, shops and kitchens; cool white (5000–6500K) is preferred for technical areas and warehouses.

Frequently asked questions
In most fittings with magnetic ballasts the starter is removed and the LED tube is fitted; with electronic ballasts the ballast may need to be bypassed. We recommend having an electrician make the connection.
2700K or 3000K warm white is recommended for living areas, bedrooms, hotels and restaurants; 4000K neutral white for offices, shops, kitchens and bathrooms; 5000K and above cool white for warehouses, workshops and technical areas. Using the same colour temperature for all luminaires in a room gives a consistent look.
