Extended Warranty Terms
The ENGN extended warranty is a paid warranty from ENGN that extends the warranty of a home (wallbox) or portable EV charger bought on our website by 1 year. You add it with the charger on the product page or in the cart; its price is based on the charger's price and is shown as a separate item in the cart, the order and the invoice.
The warranty starts on the day the charger is delivered to you. When the charger's standard warranty (usually 2 years) ends, the extended warranty runs for 1 more year; the total period is shown on the product page, in your order email and under My account → Orders. If you use the ENGN customer app, your charger's warranty end date also appears there.
During the extended warranty, faults caused by material or manufacturing defects under normal use are repaired free of charge; if repair is not possible, the charger is replaced with the same or an equivalent model. No charge is made for parts or labour.
- Faults caused by incorrect or unauthorised installation or by the electrical installation
- Damage from overvoltage, lightning or grid fluctuations
- Dropping, crushing or impact; contact with water or liquids beyond the charger's protection rating (IP)
- Fire, flood and similar external causes
- Opening, repair or software changes by unauthorised persons
- User-caused breakage, crushing or wear of cables, plugs and sockets
- Cosmetic defects such as scratches or discolouration that do not affect operation
- Use contrary to the manufacturer's manual
Write to iletisim@engn.com.tr with your order number or contact us on 05306287364 or WhatsApp. Briefly describe the fault and send a photo or video if possible. We will tell you the result of the inspection and how long the repair or replacement will take.
If you return the charger within the 14-day withdrawal period, the extended warranty fee is refunded too. To cancel only the extended warranty and keep the charger, simply let us know within 14 days of delivery; the full fee is refunded.
The extended warranty does not remove or limit your statutory consumer rights; it is given in addition to them.
