Wall Lights

How to choose a wall light

A wall light is a luminaire mounted on the wall. Where ceiling lighting is not enough it adds light from the wall and gives the room depth: it lights the way in a corridor, creates indirect light in a living room, serves as a reading light by the bed, lights the mirror in a bathroom and marks the entrance outdoors.

  • Light direction: downward lights the way, upward gives soft indirect light, up-down draws a pattern on the wall.
  • Bedroom: reading lights and double wall lights; an adjustable head will not disturb the person next to you.
  • Over-mirror and bathroom: over-mirror lights; check the protection rating (IP) in a bathroom.
  • Outdoor wall lights: at least IP54 by doors, on balconies and facades; IP65 where exposed to rain and washing.
  • Mounting height: about 170–200 cm from the floor in a corridor, 160–190 cm in a living room, 110–140 cm by the bed.

This category includes the Aura, Vistalux, Traverter and Alabaster series. Power, colour temperature, housing colour and protection rating are in each product's technical table.

Molled products in stock ship within 1–3 business days. A model that can be produced can still be bought when out of stock: the product page shows "Made to order" and shipping takes longer by the production time.
