The Bemis Mini Mobile is a portable EV charger that lets you charge your electric car from any standard household (Schuko) socket; it's also known as a 'granny cable' or Mode 2 charging cable. It needs no extra socket or installation: plug it into the socket and the Type 2 end into your car.
The charger works on a single phase with charging current adjustable between 10 A and 16 A, corresponding to about 2.3–3.7 kW. On older wiring or wiring of unknown capacity, you can reduce the current to 10 A to charge without stressing the socket and circuit. An overnight charge is enough for 40–60 km of daily driving on most cars.
The IP65 housing is resistant to dust and water jets. Choose a 5, 8 or 10 m cable depending on the distance from the socket to the car. The charger comes with a carry bag; it's ideal as a back-up in the boot, at a holiday home or when visiting.

A standard earthed household socket (Schuko, 16 A); no extra socket or installation is needed. The socket and circuit must be sound, earthed and suitable for continuous load.
At 3.7 kW, a car with a 60 kWh battery takes about 16–17 hours from empty. The 40–60 km of energy used in a typical day is easily recovered overnight.
Yes. It works with Togg, Tesla, BYD, MG and all electric cars with a Type 2 port.
Household extension leads and power strips are not rated for continuous high current and should not be used. If the socket is far from the car, choose a longer cable version; if an extension is needed, use an earthed heavy-duty extension cable rated for the charging current (in the Adapters & Extension Cables category).
If you'll only charge from household sockets, the Mini Mobile is enough. If you have (or can install) a blue 32 A industrial socket, the Mono Mobile doubles the speed to 7.4 kW; it also works on household sockets.
