Your Togg's battery is not just for driving – it can power the devices around you too. The Truwatt Togg V2L adapter (Vehicle to Load) plugs into the car's Type 2 charging socket and supplies 230 V from the 3-way power strip at the end of the cable. Kettles and hobs when camping, power tools in the garden, the fridge, router and lights during a power cut – all run straight from your car.
Important: there are separate versions of the adapter for the Togg T10F and T10X, and they do not work on each other's car. The T10F adapter does not work on a T10X, and the T10X adapter does not work on a T10F. Select your car model under "Compatible Vehicles" when ordering.
The adapter delivers up to 16 A and 3.6 kW and has overload protection. The total power of the connected devices must not exceed this value or your car's V2L limit. The rubber power strip and vehicle connector are IP54-rated (with covers), the cable is UV-resistant and works from −40 °C to +50 °C. Cable cross-section is 6 mm² (TS EN 50525-2-11); cable length excluding connector and sockets is 3, 5 or 7 metres. The 3-metre version weighs about 1,220 g.
It is easy to use: open the charging port flap, plug in the adapter, check the car's indicator lights and switch the output on with the button on the adapter; then plug in your devices. When you are done, switch it off with the button and unplug the adapter. Never connect the adapter to a home or business electrical installation: V2L is not a stationary battery system but a cable that transfers the car's energy to devices. Do not handle it with wet hands, keep it away from water and never leave connected devices unattended.

Devices with a total power of up to 3.6 kW (16 A): kettles, electric hobs, coffee machines, fridges, laptops, routers, lighting, e-bike chargers and small power tools. You can use all three sockets at once; the total limit is still 3.6 kW.
3 m is enough if you use the devices right next to the car. For camping and gardens where the tent, table or work area is further away, 5 m or 7 m is more convenient.
No. The adapter is only for powering devices directly and must not be connected to a home or business installation. During a power cut, plug your devices into the adapter's sockets one by one.
The energy comes from the car's battery. You can set a minimum battery level for V2L in the car's menu; when it is reached, the car stops the output and keeps the range you need for your journey.
The vehicle connector and the power strip with covers are IP54-rated and resistant to splashing water; still, do not expose the adapter and sockets directly to water, puddles or rain, and do not handle them with wet hands.
