The Bemis open-ended Type 2 charging connector is the Type 2 plug and cable that plugs into the car on tethered AC chargers. The open end connects to the terminals inside the charger. It's used for wallbox manufacturing, custom charger projects and replacing damaged charging cables.
There are four power versions: 3.7 kW (single-phase 16 A, 3 × 2.5 mm²), 7.4 kW (single-phase 32 A, 3 × 6 mm²), 11 kW (three-phase 16 A, 5 × 2.5 mm²) and 22 kW (three-phase 32 A, 5 × 6 mm²); all include a 0.75 mm² signal conductor. Cable length is 5 or 8 m.
The connector complies with IEC 62196-2 Type 2. The cable rating must be equal to or higher than the maximum current of the charger it's connected to. ENGN is an authorised Bemis dealer; the product has a 2-year manufacturer's warranty.
