The Lamptime DC28 is a surface-mounted downlight for rooms without a suspended ceiling or with concrete ceilings. Its GU10 lamp holder takes a lamp of the wattage and colour temperature you choose. It is used in cafés, restaurants, shops, offices and modern homes for both accent and general lighting.
The cylindrical body keeps the light source deep inside and reduces glare.
The housing is powder-coated die-cast aluminium. Protection rating IP20, electrical safety Class I.
The housing is available in white and black.

Frequently asked questions
When there is no suspended ceiling, the ceiling is concrete or timber, or an industrial look is wanted. A recessed downlight needs a cut-out in the ceiling; a surface-mounted downlight is fixed directly to it.
A narrow beam (15°–24°) is for accents, a medium beam (30°–45°) for mixed use and a wide beam (60° and above) for general lighting. The higher the ceiling, the narrower the beam needed to bring the light to the floor.
