The Lamptime DB13 is a LED panel (downlight) recessed into suspended ceilings. With the LEDs behind the light surface, the light is spread evenly and softly over a large area.
It is used for general lighting in homes, offices, shops, corridors and bathrooms. With Ø113, Ø148 and Ø186 sizes, the right output can be chosen for anything from small spaces to large rooms.
The housing is polycarbonate. The light source is an SMD LED rated for at least 100,000 hours, with a colour rendering index (CRI) above 80 for natural-looking colours. The glare rating is UGR 21. The constant-current driver is protected against overload, overvoltage, short circuit and overheating; the luminaire runs on 220–240 V AC with a power factor of PF>0.60 (P≤25W) / PF>0.95 (P≥25W). Protection rating IP40, electrical safety Class II; operating temperature -20 °C to +50 °C.
Choose a colour temperature between 2700K–6500K: warm white (2700–3000K) gives a cosy light in homes, hotels and restaurants; neutral white (4000K) suits workspaces such as offices, shops and kitchens; cool white (5000–6500K) is preferred for technical areas and warehouses.

Frequently asked questions
About 4–6 W of LED per square metre in homes and 8–10 W in offices is a common starting point. For example, a 15 m² room needs 60–90 W in total – four to six 15–20 W panels.
Cut-out sizes for the DB13: Ø87 mm, Ø120 mm and Ø162 mm. The cut-out for the size you select is shown in the technical table.
2700K or 3000K warm white is recommended for living areas, bedrooms, hotels and restaurants; 4000K neutral white for offices, shops, kitchens and bathrooms; 5000K and above cool white for warehouses, workshops and technical areas. Using the same colour temperature for all luminaires in a room gives a consistent look.
