Design your magnetic track system in 3D with this luminaire →The Lamptime ML43 is a pendant luminaire for the magnetic track system. Suspended from the track on its cable, it gives focused, decorative light over kitchen islands, dining tables, reception desks and café counters.
Thanks to its magnetic connection it can be moved along the track at any time; combined with linear and spot luminaires on the same track, general and decorative lighting come together in one system.
The housing is powder-coated extruded aluminium. The light source is a COB LED rated for at least 100,000 hours, with a colour rendering index (CRI) above 80 for natural-looking colours. The glare rating is UGR 11. The constant-current driver is protected against overload, overvoltage, short circuit and overheating; the luminaire runs on 48 V DC. Protection rating IP20, electrical safety Class III; operating temperature -20 °C to +50 °C.
Choose a colour temperature between 2700K–6500K: warm white (2700–3000K) gives a cosy light in homes, hotels and restaurants; neutral white (4000K) suits workspaces such as offices, shops and kitchens; cool white (5000–6500K) is preferred for technical areas and warehouses. The housing is available in black and white. With the DALI option, the luminaire connects to building automation and can be dimmed.

Frequently asked questions
Over a dining table or kitchen island, the bottom of the luminaire is usually 70–80 cm above the surface. This height avoids glare and concentrates the light on the table.
It fits the Lamptime 48 V magnetic track system (surface-mounted, recessed, under-panel). The track and driver are sold separately.
A magnetic track system consists of the track profile (surface-mounted, recessed or under-panel), a 48 V DC driver, a power feed and, where needed, corner and joining pieces. The luminaires (linear, spot, pendant) attach to the track magnetically. Choose a driver about 20% more powerful than the total wattage of the luminaires.
2700K or 3000K warm white is recommended for living areas, bedrooms, hotels and restaurants; 4000K neutral white for offices, shops, kitchens and bathrooms; 5000K and above cool white for warehouses, workshops and technical areas. Using the same colour temperature for all luminaires in a room gives a consistent look.
DALI is a protocol for digital lighting control. A luminaire with a DALI driver can be dimmed and connected to an automation system with scenes and time programmes. A standard (ON/OFF) luminaire is simply switched on and off.
