Portable (Mode 2) EV chargers draw high current continuously for hours. Thin household extension leads and power strips aren't designed for this load; they heat up and are dangerous. Bemis heavy-duty extension cables are made with earthed flexible TTR cable of the right cross-section and industrial plugs and sockets.
Choose the cable to match your charger's plug: 1/16A (3 × 2.5 mm²) for Mini Mobile and chargers with a household plug, 3/32A (3 × 6 mm²) for Mono Mobile, 5/32A (5 × 6 mm²) for the 22 kW Pro Mobile 2 and 5/16A (5 × 2.5 mm²) for the 11 kW version. Versions converting from a household plug to an industrial socket are also available; in that case charging current is limited to the household socket's 16 A and you must set the charger's current accordingly.
The 10 m version with IP68 plug and socket is for outdoor connections exposed to rain and water. When in use, don't leave the cable coiled on a reel – unwind it fully – and don't place it where it can be crushed or lie in water.

Frequently asked questions
No. Household extension leads and power strips aren't suitable for hours of high current; they heat up and create a fire risk. Use an earthed cable with the same plug type as the charger and an adequate cross-section.
Choose the cable with the same plug/socket type as your charger: 1/16A for household-plug chargers, 3/32A for Mono Mobile, 5/32A for Pro Mobile 2 22 kW, 5/16A for 11 kW. Keep it as short as possible.
The first number is the number of pins, the second the current. 1/16A is a standard household socket (Schuko, 16 A); 3/16A and 3/32A are blue single-phase industrial (CEE) sockets; 5/16A and 5/32A are red three-phase industrial sockets.
